This was the first project I made throughout my college career. It was designed in Adobe Illustrator and Manufactured with a laser cutter.

The idea behind this simple machine is to make it look like a droplet of water is hitting the surface of the water. This was done by creating an axle with discs along it with offset centers in order to raise different rings at certain parts of each rotation of the shaft. The assembly contains over 50 parts and is held together by a two boxes to keep the vertical supports aligned.
